Castle of Montesquieu
Feudal castle built by the lords of Sant Cristau, who then took the name of Montesquieu, dates back to 1080. The central dungeon houses the former home of the lord which was later backed a vaulted room which was the subject of a restoration. The enclosure wall to protect the whole measures nearly 12 meters high. A breathtaking view awaits you!

- Go up the street and turn right onto Fontaine Street.
- Go to Albères Street to the left and continue on Ecluse Road. Go to the viewpoint via Mas Serre Road by turning right. Turn left onto Trompettes Road, cross under the D618 bridge to reach the roundabout and turn left onto Avenue de la Mer. Turn right into the small housing estate, which is crossed by Tambori Street. Continue on the path alongside the Tech River. Turn right towards Breuilet Mill, take Mill Road. Go straight onto the vineyard path. Turn right, then take Long Street. Then left onto Plansounade Street. Turn right onto Las Serres Road, which you'll leave a few meters later to take a path through the vegetation. Head right onto the path. Continue uphill, veering left. At this point, turn left. Upon reaching Las Serres Road, go right towards Roi Road, then reach Grand'rue where the Town Hall, the starting point, is located.
