Discovery of the vineyard above Port-Vendres and the muleteers' path.

This walk takes place amidst vineyards and offers beautiful views at the mountain passes. You then return to Port-Vendres via the old path once used by muleteers.

Description

  1. From the Tourist Office, turn right and go up to Place de la Castellane. Go straight on Strategic Road.
  2. Turn right on Chemin du Val de Pintes. Follow the stream.
  3. Turn left at the hairpin bend, after a short climb, pass the tunnel of the D914 road. Follow the road to the bend then take the opposite path. Winding path to Coll de Mala Cara.
  4. Turn left, then leave the road by taking the path.
  5. Ascend on the small road and head towards Col de Perdiguer, take the left path that descends into the vineyards of Rec de Cosprons until reaching the village.
  6. Upon reaching the pass, descend to the left on the old mule track of Cosprons until reaching the housing development, then reach the train tunnel.
  7. Pass through the tunnel, arrive at the train station, and then return to the Tourist Office via the path taken on the way there.
